Warner Bros. has finished a big reshuffle of its upcoming film slate in a switch that sees each and every The Flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom behind schedule to 2023. The Flash is now as a result of release on June 23, 2023 (over seven months later than its unique November 4th opening date) marking the main time Ezra Miller will play the character in a reputation place, while the Aquaman sequel will open on March 17th, 2023, 3 months later than its up to now planned December 16th release date, Variety research.
Variety notes that pandemic-related production delays are in charge for each and every movement photos being pushed once more. On the other hand the lengthen is simply the latest of many to have hit The Flash, which at one time Warner Bros. had used to be hoping to release way back in 2018. The overlapping nature of the films inside the DC Extended Universe means that we’ve already seen Ezra Miller’s Flash appear in 3 separate movement photos: Batman v Superman: Break of day of Justice, 2016’s Suicide Squad, and Justice League.
The flicks are merely two of the titles Warner Bros. is pushing once more alongside Willy Wonka basis film Wonka, Black Adam, and DC League of Super-Pets. On the other hand, in contrast, Shazam sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods will see its release moved forward to December 12 this 365 days, after up to now having been scheduled to open in June 2023. That puts it head-to-head with Avatar 2 which is scheduled for release just a few days shortly December 16th. Good luck Shazam, you might have considered trying it.
Correction March 11th, 2:48PM ET: This newsletter at the beginning contained a typo declaring that The Flash have been pushed once more from a November 4th 2022 release date to a June twenty 3rd 2022 release date, which is obviously ridiculous. We remorseful about the error.
